Some Technical Remarks

This page is intended to explain some details regarding the domains malawischule.de and malawischule.com and the relationship to our non-profit organization, „Von Schule zu Schule.“

20xx – dec 2024 malawischule.de

The first version of our website was published under the domain malawischule.de. It was not yet based on WordPress.
We were given the opportunity to use the site and the domain malawischule.de free of charge as guest users within an existing server environment.
But with some technical restrictions.

dec 2024 – nov 2025 malawischule.com

The next version of our website was based on WordPress. It was published under the domain malawischule.com in dec 2024.
The attempt to continue using malawischule.de failed due to technical limitations of the server environment or license we were using.
Once again, we were given the opportunity to use the site and the domain malawischule.com free of charge as guest users within another existing server environment.

Since then, the domain malawischule.de has been redirected to the domain malawischule.com.

since nov 2025 malawischule.de

In nov 2025, we found a solution to migrate the site back to the original server environment.
But still with technical restrictions. For example it’s not possible to create DNS records.

Since then, the domain malawischule.com has been redirected to the domain malawischule.de—instead of the other way around.

Creation ogf MX-Type DNS Records

We are currently able to create MX-type DNS records for the domain malawischule.com only. But this is not possible for the domain malawischule.de.
